I have that framed chart.

A through and through industry professional, I’ve worked my way steadily up the ladder into the ranks of Cape Town's 1st ACs. With a great passion for all things camera, and with a deep natural curiosity for wanting to understand how things work – coupled with seven year’s experience as 2nd AC – the camera team is my home.

​

I have a perfectionist's mindset and a keen eye for detail. The art of the camera build is my perpetual challenge, always looking for ways to keep the build tighter, lighter, neater and more agile. 

​

My ethos is rooted in a “work hard at what you love doing” philosophy – hence my company name, Smile Cine, which embodies my approach to work and to life. 

​

With dual British/South African citizenship, I am able to travel between countries – wherever the work may take me.
